Rockbrook Camp for Girls
P.O. Box 792
Brevard, NC 28712

Serving girls since 1921, Rockbrook Camp for Girls (RBC) is proud of being the perfect place for girls to spend time together, enjoying the outdoor beauty of western North Carolina, building confidence along with new friendships that will become part of their foundations for life.

“Rockbrook’s Mission is to provide a haven for girls; a place of their own, where they can explore the beauty of nature, try new things, enjoy carefree summer living, and make some of their very best friends.” Read more about the camp's philosophy at: http://www.rockbrookcamp.com/describe/philosophy.html.

Activities include horseback riding, whitewater rafting, gymnastics, riflery, archery, pottery, weaving and swimming, to cozy camp fires and exploring the creeks and woods.

Families can choose between the 19-day regular session, the 26-day main session or the 12-day Mini sessions in June, July or August, 2011. The first regular session begins June 5; first Mini session, June 12, 2011.

The Rockbrook website offers a large amount of parent information, including videos, special dietary options, advice on helping your daughter handle being away from home, camping itself, and much more. There, you create an account that enables you to register and stay in touch with your daughter the entire time she is at camp.

If you want a great summer adventure for your daughter that she will cherish forever, please visit Rockbrook’s website and allow yourself plenty of time to pour over its extensive information. MjL
