The homeschooling laws in this state have a number of twists and turns that need to be addressed by prospective homeschooling parents. As always, seek the advice of the statewide organizations before doing anything.

Compulsory Attendance: Ages 6 to 16. Must conform to the local public school.

Required Subjects: Math, English grammar, reading, literature, spelling, writing, history, civics, science, history and civics. (See statute for specifics, however.)
