Parents are not required to qualify to teach their children.

Reporting: Each year, parents must submit a curriculum to the local board that shows that the child is receiving a basic academic program.

Compulsory Attendance: Between the age of 7 (before Sept 15) and 16 or completion of the 10th grade; 175 days per year.

Required Subjects: Math, reading, writing, literature, science, civics and history
