Connecticut Homeschooling Laws
Overview:
• Mandatory schooling is ages 5-17
• Required subjects: mathematics, science, social studies, language arts, music, art & reading (elementary
school)
• Notification of Intent to homeschool, if child is enrolled in school already
• No mandatory testing or recordkeeping requirements
